Biography
John Makeham is Emeritus Professor of Chinese Studies in the School of Culture, History and Language, College of Asia and the Pacific. He is also Emeritus Professor at La Trobe University.
Educated at ANU, he has held academic appointments at Victoria University of Wellington, University of Adelaide, National Taiwan University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, ANU and La Trobe University.
