Dr Leszek Buszynski is an Honorary Professor in the Strategic & Defence Studies Centre.

From 1997 to 2010, he was professor of International Relations at the International University of Japan (IUJ). From 1997 to 2001 he was Dean of the Graduate School of International Relations at the IUJ and concurrently Director of the IUJ Research Institute. He was also Director of the Research Institute of Asian Development from [RIAD] 1995 until 1997.

He was associate professor in the International University of Japan from 1994 until 1997. From 1987 to 1993 Senior Research Fellow and Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Strategic Studies at the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre. Before then, he was Lecturer and later Senior Lecturer at the Department of Political Science at the National University of Singapore from 1980 until 1987.

His latest book publication is Negotiating with North Korea: The Six Party Talks and the Nuclear Issue.
