Archaeology of Northern Australia and Island South East Asia

Biography

I am involved in several collaborative projects: Earth mounds of the Murray River with Dr Colin Pardoe (ANU), ARC Linkage (LP160101232) Heritage of the Air, led by Prof Tracy Ireland (University of Canberra), and the Anbarra Project analysing shell midden sites at the Blyth River in central Arnhem Land with Dr Betty Meehan. I am currently writing up results from previous projects: ARC Discovery (DP120100512) Earth mounds in Northern Australia: Archaeological and environmental archives of the mid to late Holocene; visualising archaeology with Dr Ursula Frederick (UC) and Dr Mirani Litster (ANU); and the archaeology of Hatu Sour rockshelter, Timor-Leste with Prof. Sue O’Connor, Dr Stuart Hawkins and Dr Mirani Litster (ANU)
