    Project Details

The aim of the proposal is to contribute to the debate on policies toward taxation, family benefits and pension reform by providing quantified assessments of the effects of alternative combinations of policies on household incomes and wellbeing. These assessments will be based on new work, which will be at the leading edge of current international research in theoretical and applied economics and econometrics. Its significance lies in the contributions it will make to improving the formulation of policies that determine the living standards of millions of households, as well as to extending the frontiers of economic research.
