    Abstract

    This volume is the product of an international workshop held at the University of Sydney in February 2010. The workshop brought together leading and emerging scholars and practitioners from a variety of disciplines to consider the increasing emergence, re-emergence and spread of deadly infectious diseases which pose health, economic, security and ethical challenges for states and people around the world.
