    Abstract

Externality is a concept well known to economists, but not to the general public. Since externality is a key concept in environmental economics and Emil Salim has for a long time supporting the implementation of this concept in Indonesia, this paper aims to describe this concept in layman’s terms. Several examples of externality are also provided.
